Wingham-based Wingsong is a community acappella choir that loves to spread their love of music from all over the world. Frequently singing in different and indigenous languages, they bring a message of peace through harmony. Over the years, Wingsong has supported many positive community-building events and festivals through their performances, led by founding conductor Telly Bertels, as well as Sandra Kwa and Susan Stott. The choir is open to all, and the high quality, often very complex, four-part singing that has been achieved is a testament to both the dedication of the members and the skill of the conductors. But by far the most important goal is to simply enjoy singing as a feel-good shared activity, and this joy is irresistible to Wingsong’s audience too!
