WINGHAM MUSIC FESTIVAL INC. Terms and Conditions of Entry

General

  • Respect the local community. The locals have been kind enough to let us hold this fabulous event in their area so please respect them and the surrounding properties.

  • The right of admission is reserved. No ticket, No entry. Tickets are fully transferable and non-refundable.

  • Your wrist band must be worn and be clearly visible at all times. Do not remove your wristband. Anybody without a wristband will be asked to pay entry or asked to leave.

  • No vehicle movement on site during Festival operating hours (Emergency Services excepted)

  • Smoking is not permitted in the festival precinct this includes any building, marquee, outdoor eating or drinking area, or within 4 metres of the entrance.

  • Ear plugs and sunscreen are available for your protection.

  • The Wingham Music Festival reserves the right to publish any photos or videos of an individual across any form of media. By entering the festival, you agree to these terms. If you object to your image being published please contact a committee member at the Showgrounds office.

Alcohol

  • The Festival entertainment area is licensed and alcohol is not to be taken outside the marked alcohol zone.

  • Drinks are not permitted to be brought into the Festival grounds. Esky and bag checks will be carried out.

  • ID will be required for alcohol purchases, acceptable forms of ID include Drivers License, Proof of Age, Passport.

  • In accordance with the liquor act, it is an offense to refuse to leave a licensed area when asked.

  • The licensed area must be vacated within 30 minutes of the bar closing.

  • People wishing to enter the event who are affected by alcohol will be refused entry.

Dogs

  • Dogs must be kept under control at all times.

  • All dogs must be on a lead when in public places.

  • Dogs are not permitted in the Marquee or in any of the alcohol zones on site (Guide Dogs excepted).

  • Owners must ensure that dogs are not a nuisance to others.

  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up any ‘mess’ deposited by their pet.

Breaches

Any Person who, intentionally or otherwise, damages the site, removes any equipment without permission, enters a restricted area without permission or breaches the terms and conditions set out in this document may be required to leave the site and must do so on request.

Banned Items

Wingham Music Festival is a safe, secure, inclusive and law abiding Festival. We put the care, comfort and safety of our patrons, staff and artists at the centre of everything we do. To achieve this, the following list of items are banned:​

  • Glass of any kind - the Festival reserves the right to confiscate food or drinks packaged in glass.

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Fireworks, flares, fire twirling paraphernalia (sticks, balls etc)

  • Laser lights

  • Alcohol brought in from outside of the event

  • Full or partly full bottles of water, juice, soft drink etc

  • Sealable pouches (yoghurt, baby food pouches)

  • Bags larger than a typical grocery shopping bag

  • Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia

  • Selfie sticks

  • Water pistols

  • Skateboards

  • Drones

  • Protest paraphernalia and banners

  • Anything studded (i.e. belts, wristbands etc)

  • Culturally sensitive items and attire

  • Non-biodegradable glitter

  • Clothing, jewellery or accessory displaying the name of any motorcycle-related or similar organisations or any “declared organisation” within the meaning of the Crimes (Criminal Organisation Control) Act 2009 is not permitted

  • Any other items considered illegal or dangerous
